Weapon Design

 For my current Unit in my Games Design course, we were asked to create a 3D Model for an object that could be used in game. I came up with the idea of creating a weapon.

I created the model in Mudbox, i wanted it to be quite organic and creepy. I took a lot of inspiration from games like Mass Effect, and Halo. I really like the designs and how they looked so alien like, so i decided i really wanted to portray this in my design. I started by looking at deep sea creatures and spiders.
